Colored hair isn’t analogous to what she’s talking about, black people are threatened with unemployment for not using chemicals to relax and straighten their hair in an unnatural way. A more accurate comparison would be if you had curly brown hair and your boss threatened to fire you if you didn’t get it bleached blonde and straightened.

Look at the countless mass shootings (vast vast majority committed by white people) and how many of the killers were taken into custody alive. The only ones I can think of that died were ones who killed themselves when they were done. Compare that to unarmed black people who weren’t committing crimes and were killed by police officers. That’s white privilege.
White privilege is being treated better just because you’re white. Even if you’re poor and in ill health and struggling to find a job, you would be worse off if you were all of those things and black. It will be easier for you to find employment, you will get paid more, and doctors will take you more seriously based on the color of your skin. While white women don’t make as much as white men for the same position, they make more than black men and black women in the same position. That’s white privilege.
